Ali Khalili

Ali began playing volleyball as a child in Iran and came to the USA in 1978. He has played indoor and beach competitively since then and was one of the highest ranked beach players in Texas for over two decades. Ali played on the AVP when it first came to Dallas and he has traveled all over the country on various national tours. My favorite fact about Ali is that he has been playing so long that he played against Karch Kiraly when the ball was made of suede!

Ali has been a coach and mentor to many of Texas' top players, including most of the coaches at 692. His experience and patience make him a natural coach and he is excited to be working with a new generation of players at 692. Ali is also an indoor coach at Extreme Volleyball.
