Dr Dar Griffeth

Dar began playing volleyball in college and played at the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of California San Diego as an outside hitter. He played for 4 years with the US Navy volleyball team and for 2 years as an international player in Japan from 95-97. He has been an All-American twice in his volleyball career. Dar started playing beach volleyball in 90 and has been playing on the AVP qualifier and other national tours for over 15 years. He qualified for his first AVP event in 1992 in San Antonio and has qualified for several events over the years.

Dar has been coaching indoor volleyball at the high school and club level for many years and continues to train and play competitively both indoor and on the beach. This is Dar's 14th year to coach at 692 and he currently is a chiropractor who travels the country teaching seminars in sports injury and extremity adjusting.
