Dr Scott Stover

Scott began playing volleyball in high school and played at Texas Tech University as a middle blocker. He transferred to the University of North Texas where he played as an outside hitter and was the captain of the team in 1998 when UNT won the Southwest Conference. Scott began playing beach volleyball in college and went on to play professionally on various regional and national tours, including the AVP qualifier tour where he was ranked for 12 years. He was sponsored by Powerbar, Oakley, and Third Degree Sportswear.

Scott has coached for 30 years at every level from high school, to club, to division one college programs at SMU and TWU. He has been coaching beach volleyball for 16 years at 692 and was chosen to be one of three coaches to go to Russia in 2010 with the USA Beach program. He was selected to be a speaker at the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2015. Scott has developed many of the top beach juniors players in the country over the last sixteen years. He has coached 16 teams to national championships and had dozens of players selected to train at the US Olympic Training Center.

Scott continues to train and play competitively. He is the National Director of 692 which he formed in 2004.
