Amanda Leibovitz, MA, LPC, CC-AASP

Amanda is a Certified Consultant of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) and owner of Threshold Performance Consulting, LLC. Amanda has worked closely with athletes, teams, and coaches to leverage mental skills and achieve new levels of success, including NCAA Division I athletes (softball, swimming, track and field), MMA fighters, wrestlers, rowers, shooters, endurance athletes, Navy SEAL recruits, elite figure skaters, musicians, and Paralympic athletes.

Amanda played volleyball for ten years and retired after her undergraduate career at the University of Nottingham as a right-side hitter and libero. She is now a competitive endurance athlete and was the 2015 IRONMAN 70.3 Collegiate Graduate National Champion, allowing her to travel to Australia to compete in the 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships. In addition, Amanda is a USA Triathlon and USA Cycling certified coach with the Multisport Performance Institute and also serves as a guide for athletes with visual impairments.

Amanda received her MA in Counseling with a Specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University in Chicago and is now pursuing her PhD in Educational Psychology with a Concentration in the Psychosocial Aspects of Sport and Exercise at the University of North Texas.
