Coaches Minimize

Ed Bond

Ed began playing volleyball as a junior in California. He played in high school for the SIMI Valley High School boys team and was on the first team all Marmonte league and the first team all CIF in 1989-1991. Ed went on to play at Cal State Northridge and was on the U.S. Olympic Festival North Team in 1994. He was a Gold Medalist at USA Men’s Open Nationals from 1999-2001. Ed began playing beach volleyball in high school and played professionally on the CBVA and other tours from 1994-2002.


Ed has been coaching for 12 years and has coached several National Champion Teams during his time as a coach for Southern California Volleyball Club in Redondo Beach. Ed was an assistant coach at Cal State Northridge and worked several camps for Marv Dunphy between 200-2005. Ed is currently an indoor coach for 900 and this is his 2nd year as a year-round coach at 692.
