
Dr Scott Stover
Scott began playing volleyball in high school and played at Texas Tech University as a middle blocker. He transferred to the University of North Texas where he played as an outside hitter and was the captain of the team in 1998 when UNT won the Southwest Conference. Scott began playing beach volleyball in college and went on to play professionally on various regional tours and on the AVP qualifier tour where he was ranked for 12 years. He was sponsored by Powerbar, Oakley, Third Degree Sportswear, Freestyle, and Aloe Up.
Scott has coached indoor for 22 years at every level from high school to club to division one college programs at SMU and TWU. He has been coaching beach volleyball for 7 years at 692 and Scott was chosen to be one of the three coaches to go to Russia in 2010 with the USA Beach program. He has developed many of the top beach juniors players in the country over the last seven years. He has coached 3 teams to national championships on the USA Beach Tour and had dozens of players selected to train at the US Olympic Training Center each year.
Scott continues to train and play competitively. He is the Director of 692 which he formed in 2005 and he is currently a Chiropractor in Flower Mound.
